Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.

They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them,
disagree with them,
quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify them or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.

Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools these kinds of people.
While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.

信用しなくたっていい。
美化しようと中傷しようとかまわない。
だが、彼らを無視することはできない。

なぜなら彼らは物ごとを変えるからだ。
彼らは発明する。想像する。癒す。
冒険する。創りだす。インスパイアーしてくれる。
彼らが人類を前に進めるのだ。

たしかにクレイジーにはちがいない。
そうでなければ、他のいったい誰が無地のキャンバスに芸術品を見ることができるだろう？
いったい誰が沈黙の中に座ってまだ作られていない音楽を聞けるだろう？
あるいは赤い惑星をじっと見つめて車輪に乗った実験室を見ることができるのか。

私たちはそんな種類の人々のために道具を作っている。
クレイジーとしか見られない人々だが私たちには天才が見える。

自分は世界を変えることができる、と考えるほど
十分にクレイジーな人たちがほんとうに世界を変えるのだ。
